From environmental samples, raw materials, and industrialized products, CBMAI performs the following services:

• Microorganism counting (CFU/mL) for bacteria, filamentous fungi, and yeasts;

• Microorganism isolation using pour-plate or spread-plate methods, as well as specific incubation conditions indicated for each microorganism.

Upon client interest, isolated microorganisms may be deposited at CBMAI, subject to prior request to the Collection.

The client must send an email to cbmai@cpqba.unicamp.br or to the Collection curator, Dr. Derlene Attili de Angelis (derlene@cpqba.unicamp.br), including the specific service request, the name of the affiliated Institution/Company, and a contact phone number.

A service provision contract (via email) will be sent. This document must be completed and signed by the responsible party and returned by email.

Service performance will only begin after the signed document is received.
